I finally finished the piece for the mantel.  I am so excited about it, and the needed reminder it gives me each day I walk in the door.

What's for Dinner: Steak with Morell Mushrooms

We got an amazingly generous gift from a friend of a freshly picked bag of morell mushrooms!  They were amazing.  We decided to slice them and sautee in olive oil with two cloves of chopped garlic, 1/4 cup white wine, and 1/4 cup lowfat cream.  Once it cooked down we topped it on some amazing peppered steaks and had with baby heirloom tomatoes and fresh asparagus!  I love farm market season.
